Howdy g-units.

Firstly my system consists of;
(x4) 12" subs
(x2) 6" splits
(x2) 4" splits
(x2) tweaters
(x2) 6x9's
(x3) amps, one huge one and 2 smaller ones.

i went to a place today that quoted me $2700 which includes 2 stiffer caps, all the wiring, fibreglass doorpods, and a perspex and light feature in the floor of the boot (amps are going in where the spare wheel is). i think this is a bit much. all the photo's they showed me of the other cars they did were really good and seemed pretty high quality.

just wondering if you guys think thats a bit much and if you knew of anywhere to get a quality job from?

if you are keen for the drive i think Gold Coast Car Sound do a decent install and they do all custom stuff like fibreglassing and the like. there is another mob that do them on the south side of brissie but for the life of me i cant remember the name of it. sounds like you might have already been there with a $2700 quote though. they are extremely dear but their work is good. good luck with it andmake sure you post some photo's when you're done

Maroochy Car Sound looks the goods, can only take the word of a few mates that lived up there but it seems pretty good.

I've only ever heard good things about Northfield Moorooka.

I imagine they wouldn't be bargain basement cheap, but at least you'd be assured of a good quality job.

shoot down to gold coast autosalon and have a look at installs there that will give you a good indication, sunday would be better as thats when the sound off is on

I would recomend either northfield carsound at mt gravitt or goldcoast car sound moss street
