well thanks to slamed6 selling his old king lows to me and thanks to liberate for installing them i have finally lowered my TH and i must admit it is so much better than the standard 4X4 suspension that it came with :bowrofl: .......... here are a few pics of ride now

well when it becomes day light i will take more pics and i still want it to be legal to drive on the roads ???? what is the lowest you can go and still be legal ????

yeah you need some day shots
pretty sure its 100mm to the lowest part of your car
but it might be different in SA

That's as low as you can go legally, it's do with with the 1/3 of the original suspension travel, not the 100mm rule.

Looks nice, will look lower in the day when the flash doesn't light up inside the guards.

Some cops will measure from the centre of the wheel, some will measure the 10cm to the lowest part of the car, some will go by the number of coils and some dont even care. When I got defected the cop just got out walked over and said too low, didn't measure it in any way at all!

but the funny thing is liberate your car was to low ??? what was it king super lows ..... wait and werent they compressed an extra inch lol , and we still have to fix that dam left strut its pissin me off when i drive :rant:

they just do that to get u off of the roads and into regency (worst defect place EVER...sa membes will kno whtim on about). my m8 has an old vp stock as a sock (lol) and got defected for """"""bald""""" tyres and yeah turns out that they wernt bald enouh 2 be illegal but instead got done for hairline fractures in the chassis were the seats bolt into it....its total joke, the cop would'nt have to know a thing about whats legan and whats not when it comes 2 cars and still able 2 defect u total crap:rant: lol

give em a month and they will settle nicely :) for some reason my stock rears are lower than your low rears :P wonder what will happen when i get around to putting in the superlows <_<

mine took 1 month to settle in but there where brand new when i fitted them, and it actully did drop another 5mm or close to that every mm counts!! lol

the car looks sooo much better. i have my mags on now and my car is higher than yours was now, so i will be doing the 'makita' mod to my springs on saturday so we can compare, although i am not so worried about the legality of the hight or the ride comfort, i just want mine dumped.

You car can not be defected if there's nothing wrong with it. It's against the law to do so, and you can go to court about it.

im lowered 2.5 inch front 1.5 on the back on tj vrx looks good using koni adustables aswell good if u want it hard ride or soft ride
