hey guys this is all a bit new to me... i fianlly got some sence:nuts: into my head and sold the commo and bought a 98 magna advance it's white fairly dark windows, so far i've put a clarion cd player, mtx thunder mono amp and clarion 12" sub... it was alot eaiser than i expected apart from trying to find the main power wire thread through from the engine bay. I'm looking to do some more mods especially the interior so if ne1 could help me out with ideas that would be great....

future ideas
- altezza carbon taillights
- pharbolic front
- verada front and back garnish
- verada interior ( leather if they came out in it???)
- wood grain interior features
- change dash lighting to red??
- electric windows


finding that verada parts are hard to find in brissy:cool: ??

The woodgrain is a no-go unless you have a digital climate control display unfortunately.

Dash lighting - easy. remove the cluster surround (2 screws at the top) then remove the cluster (4 screws, one on each corner) once its out youll see where the bulbs are and its just a matter of swapping them over with some red ones from supercheap etc.

Parabolics - ebay is your friend, usually go for 300-400$ however recently they have been going for as low as $130-175. Theres a wiring guide on here.

Altezza Carbon taillights - unfortunately for the TE/TF/TH, the only ones I have seen are the clear taillights. TJ has more options however for the TJ ones youll also need to install a TJ bootlid. Check ebay.

Verada front & back garnish - Ive got a grille from a 97 Verada you can have cheap, and the rear garnish - check wreckers, expect to pay ~$20-40

Windows - NFI sorry, too much fiddling about for me. I bought a Verada so never had a need to learn this :)

can i ask why u didnt look for a verada in the first place? seems ur trying to convert an exec into a verada, which may just be costly... just my opinion i guess, but if i were u i wouldve just put $5k more into shopping for a XI verada, had the lot with sunroof and leather.

it's simple i got a really good price on this car so it was a bit hard to say no 2. It's not that i'm trying to convert, it's more of the fact that i would like a lil more luxury and style than my advance offers thanks for the prices
