Hi guys, i was told that you have to reset the ecu after installing a cai so the ecu can adjust the amount of air and fuel that the engine will need, is this true

u can do so if you want but i definitely would not do so.

30 seconds of your life you wont get back because it doesn't do anything.

Reseting your ECU by removing the battery is pointless.

There is residuale charge left in the ecu, but not much.

Reseting the ecu in your case will not help. your better starting the vehical and monitoring engine idle.

Your ecu is designed to sort its self out.
