As a straight fit in, no, some work has to be done to get it to fit, ive had experiance with the fronts fitting but never treid the rear, (just going off advice for the rear off AMC) all you would have to do really is have a go and see what part doesnt fit, im pretty sure it can be made to fit though

So how do 3rd-gen front seats feel compared to 2nd-gen? I guess it might be a matter of personal taste, but generally speaking how do they compare? (eg. better lumbar support, more form-fitting...?)
Only ever been in one 3rd gen and that was a while ago. Don't know anyone with one to test-sit.:D

im intested in the comfort as well, i find that the 2nd gen verada seats are some of the most comfortable i have sat in, other than leather is the 3rd gen more comfortable?
i know this is a personal opinion question but still would like to hear as i have never sat in a 3rd gen

I know there are 2 types of material used for the 2nd gen seating.
I have a TS Advance and the material is a hard type cross hatched material, not comfortable at all.
The other 2nd gen fabric is a smoother material and more comfortable.
That in mind the 3rd gen seats are just as good (if not better) and Brendan had a set lying around.

no probs brad, i find the 3rd gen seats are far better than second gens even in standard form but on the other hand my ralliart buckets are so so comfy in comparison if you can get a set it would be a good investment!!

I know that the 2nd gen Elite has Velour seating and it is quite comfortable.....comfy even.

As for the rear seat, its no issue, the backrest will slot in ok, the bottom bit is slightly wider, I found the easiest way was to get a couple of tek screws and screw them into the car body thru the metal clips on the bottom of the seat.
I put my old KE Velour interior into the mrs' KR.

My brother owns a 98 third gen Magna and I own a 94 2nd gen and I have driven both in the last 24 hrs and I would say that the 2nd gen is a lot more comfy.
The 3rd gen seats make me feel like my **** is sitting on the floor, no matter how I moved the seat. I also felt like I didn't have enough leg space when I was in a comfortable enough position to be reaching for the wheel. Also the 2nd gen's seem to have a more noticeable bucket shape, more of a curve inwards at the ends. My 2c anyways.

Do you have pictures of both interiors?
I have a feeling that your 2nd Gen seats are a different material to mine.

so would second gen rear wagon seats fit into a third gen? mits thought it would be funny not to have split fold rears in the third gen wagons
