hi all. my 2000 TJ magna has a problem with the trip computer.

instead of the normal status being displayed e.g. kilometers till empty, it's showing 5, even when you press the mode button.

any advice?

you need to hold down the mode button, it will then display 3 or 3.5 depending on your motor, press and hold the mode button again and all will be well. This happens when the battery is disconnected.
P.S. it's actually an "s" for sedan.
