Yeah decided to do my centre console yesterday. Turned out quite good I think. Just didnt do enough clear coats.

It looks a bit green... is it supposed to be that way? Clean and it doesn't stand out though, you've won my support! :)

Edit: Viewed this on my secondary monitor and it turned out grey, and looks better :P Stupid monitor colour profiles...

actually you were right te first time. Its got a tinge of green in it. Got a bit of a green theme going - cars green, green neons, dash etc

Lovin them blue dials mate, looks like youve done a great job too.

good choice if ur going a green theme, its not too 'in ur face' green, and should flow nicely with the rest :) well done :)

......out of all of the painted consoles ive seen on amc...urs...has got to be.......by far...the best lol, but thats not saying much coz all others ive seen are full-of-woe,

Can I ask what you did to keep the small labels showing at the top and bottom of the cool air bypass wheel on the right hand side of the vents ?
Did you buy new ones or else how did you protect them ?

My opinion is that I like darker colours more though, gives the inside of the car a more moody feel.

:) all i did was pick them off with a stanly knife prior to painting then super glued them back on afterwords. Quite easy to get off as they are quite thick plastic.
