Hey guys. I've had my 2003 TJII for nearly two years and I've noticed that the speed of the front power windows have noticably slowed down in the last six months. Down's not so much of an issue, but up takes about 1/3 to 1/2 times longer to travel the full distance than the rear windows. Has anyone else had this problem? I'm thinking that the motors may be stuffed or that the drive mechanisms might need lubing, but i havent had a chance to get the door skins off yet. Also, is there any easy solution to stop that wind noise coming in through the A-pillars? It was ignorable at first but now that I drive more with the stereo off it's starting to give me the ****s.

Is it still under warranty? If so, take it to a dealer to get them fixed. Otherwise, for the
window problem. spray some silicon along the guides and see if that helps. The noise with
the A-Pillars may not be the A-Pillars. Do a search as I vaguely remeber someone saying its
the mirrors or that black triangle at the bottom of the window.

My passenger window is painfully slow, takes twice as long as the drivers one.

A new motor fix this you reckon? Cost from a wrecker?
