View Full Version : Boot tension with heavier spooler

Does anyone know if the tension on boot lid can be adjusted? My factory spoiler was replaced with a larger one, and now when I use the boot release it doesn't spring up anymore (although it does unlock). Also when closing the boot you need to hold it as you close it, or it slams really hard like it's going to break itself. :!:
It must be adjustable because when the original spoiler was removed, the boot lid used to fly up all the way like a catapult – and I know spoiler-free boot lids don't normally do that!
mines never srung up it just pops open i have the stock vrx spoiler

Same, though I have a normal sports spoiler.
ALTHOUGH, I've disconnected the boot release that's in the golve box! That way, if someone breaks in to the car, they'll have to break in to the boot as well if they want my sub/amp :p mahhahaha :p
