Hey guys im planning my next round of sound system upgrades which will be the speakers all round in my tf solara...
I currently have a pair of Pioneer TS-C1602's sittin in my room which i plan on running as rear fill.... is this possible as they are a splits????
Also i was gonna go a pair of PIONEER TS-C160R's for the front... how do these sound and would i be able to get away with no running them off an amp for now? (will upgrade that later)
Cheers guys

The TS-C1602's sould be all right in the back, with the splits theu will be fine for a while with no amp, but they woud sound a lot better with one

you can put the splits in the rear if you want
but the tweeters need to be close to the speaker

when you make a spacer plate to fit the 6" just put the tweeter next to the woofer then it will all fit under the factory grill

i msged the guys and they also said that to me....
the fact that its in melbourne makes me feel a bit more comfortable... also they have excellent feedback
my other options are caraudiowarehouse.com.au who have them for 299 or a store which will be easily 350+
