ok i have started making my letterbox grille, and i need a little bit of help fromt he pro's or anyone with 'bogging' expeirence.

ok i started with the base for my bog to go into with a bitta fibre glass and a little bit of balsa wood. this worked out fine, i then put some hardner (as directed on the tin) into my bog mixture, and obviusly it wasnt enough as it cured a bit doey, or didnt cure at all.

so i scraped it all off and did it again this time adding a bit more hardner, now it dried to hard and i need like a grinder to 'sand' it down. now i have a few questions as i am a complete novice. once i sand it down, do i add more bog and sand it again, and keep doing so until its flat and in line with the grille lines??

also you know how you cut out the cetnre part and leave the gaps, do u bog just in that gap? or go u bog a little past the cuts in the palstic and sand it down? sorry its a bit hard to explain, if ya having troubel understanding ill get my camera out nt ry to take some pics.

thanks.

this is such a fun mod and everyone wonders why I don't do more.

The basic way is a little bog at a time and sand until smooth, don't rush it and don't use too much bog at a time as the heat when it cures will stuff the grill.

um u kno when you did yours....was it like perfectly smooth?

your doing fine mate.

What you have to do now is make it all smooth, so i would say once you think its smooth and level with the rest of the grille, give it a few coats of primer, that will reveal all your imperfections and will show you what to work on next.

your going really well:)

Has to be perfectly smooth mate or else its just a half assed job;)

get an electric detail sander mate, makes life easier for the harder sanding.
