What year model? Anything of the new shape (which are dead sexy) there's basically no known problems. My GF's dad works for Toyota/Lexus and he says they NEVER come back with anything wrong with them. They're a bloody nice car.

I reckon. I love either a jap spec one of those or a BF turbo when the fagna is gone.

its a lexus, therefore its built like a bank vault. As long as you maintain it you will never ever have a problem with it

Corollas are pretty reliable..........lol
I am led to believe they are underpowered in auto form, that from a long term owner.

The chassis is bulletproof, the transmission is bulletproof and the engine is bulletproof. A friend has one and in the 2.5 years he has had it there has been nothing wrong with it. But because of the attention they get as "moddable" cars they are quite expensive when compared to similar cars.

drove to sydney on the weekend from melbourne to check out the car, damn long drive. year 2000 is200, 52,000ks on the clock, luxury sports pack with leather/suade interior, heated seats, sunroof and the lot pretty much. its auto and just had a major service done that the guy paid $1,300 for. mate is paying $24,500 and its getting delivered on the truck within the next couple of weeks.

Very nice buy. I'm actually looking at getting something similar in a couple years... probably an IS200 aswell but a bit newer (2003-2006) They are such bloody nice cars. It'll just be the family car - keep the Magna.
