On a 12" sub, Plastic face, Rubber surround, filters behind the face.
What is the potential for water damage should the sub be accidently sprayed by a leaking boot seal during a wash or (in my case) your sisters dog pissing directly onto the sub face while you are out with your girlfriend?
Seriously, should i be worried?

I'd be more worried about the smell than anything lol.
Your sub should work fine still as long as there are no tears between the face and the rubber where the water/K9Pee has got in, but even then should still be ok as long as it's all dry before you start using it.

my sub has been sprayed before, let it dry off and haven't noticed a difference. I'd recommend unplugging it, and keeping it in a warm dry spot for a week or so, so it's completely dried out, and then give it a shot. Providing it hasn't gone through to any of the electricals you should be fine.

Yeah, I left them standing agains the wall in my house and went out for dinner with my other half and when i came home I planned on fitting them into the car... and found the afformentioned. They are currently sitting on the back seat of my missuses car. Gonna teat them later in the week once i know they are dry for sure.
