No they don't have any preouts, you have 2 options:
- Hook up a line converter which will convert your speaker outputs into RCA outputs (though sound quality is usually lost here)
- Replace the standard headunit with an aftermarket one.

I doubt it'll drain your battery unless you install it incorrectly. That or if you run it for like half an hour with the engine off...

Sif half an hour would drain a battery, unless he had it pulling massive amps constantly :P.
You'll be fine mate, the only reason a headdeck would drain your battery was if you ran the stereo without the engine running, but like lucifer said any deck will do that, time it takes depends on your system/how hard your pushing it.

i dunno bout this battery draining thing...lol
but you can use a line out converted as said previously, or
you can also get amplifiers the have hi-level input,
both these options work onnatural distortion though, unlike pre-outs on an aftermarket deck, the quality difference is noticeable...some say its not, but ive been in the same position ive noticed the difference.
if you want quality id replace your deck, if not id go
- an amp with high level inputs
or
- a line out (hi-lo) converter
