It looks like all i've done this morning is follow you around posting up behind you. Also is your keyboard broken or something??
If you don't know or can't think up a way to fix a flat piece of wood/MDF to your boot, are you really sure you want to take this on?!?
You could make a custom boot install and still use a box that you could clip in place and take out if you want to go to the drags or need to put something large in your boot, like a kangaroo or moose... otherwise you may be stuck with a large and cumbersome boot install that you really don't want.

I have mounted a flush piece of carpetted MDF in front of my Sub Box, that gives it a very clean installation. The Piece is attached onto the box with VELCRO.
It is easy enough to remove so to get access to the spare wheel. The Amp is mounted on an MDF board to the right of the boot. That is screwed in.
I have attached a pic so u get an idea. Its all very neat, and stock looking (As stock as 2 subs and an Amp can look) LOL

yes...yes i do...haha...its my cousins terrible laptop. doesn't respond vry well to this website. sorry...
i had two subs hidden behind a vertical wall with the amps mounted in that in my lancer. the wall could slide back enough to get the spare out with a bit of a wiggle. looked really good. did it all myself but it took me a fair while and a bit of trial and error.

We'll have to start another....
Have fun with your boot install.... I'm doin up mine ATM as well...
I don't know much about the TR boots, but they should be easy enough to build a flat floor in I imagine..
I'm almost finished on the panels in my boot ATM....

I'll be starting my custom boot install into the vrx next week
I don't imagen it to be too hard as I'll be doing it at work.. working at a car audio place does have it's advantages ;)
I'll start a new thread with pictures of step by step

for my floor i used the wood floor that was already in there, cut it where the front of the sub box sits and put a couple of hinges on it. then use a nice thick carpet over the top and trim to fit. it works a treat and you dont have to muck around with making a new floor. obviously if you wanted to mount amps in the floor it woulsnt work, but there is lots of room elsewhere for amps. For the sub box, i took out the back seats screwed through the metal behind the seat and into the box with 4 long screws. so - box screwed to back of seat, box weighing down the floor. simple. no screws or bolts needed to hold the actual floor in place, the weight of the sub box takes care of that. If you take your time with the carpeting and get it really good, no matter how bad you are with the wood work, it can look great....
just remember the measure twice, cut once rule.
