as some of you know i recently purchased 19" rims for my 2nd gen magna
now last week this happened:
http://www.aussiemagna.com/forums/showthread.php?t=49210
now, on Friday i put my 19"z on for the first time, it was raining, but i said **** it i really wanna see them on my car!
so i installed them, and noticed this on my front right (which got damaged)

right, so i thought ok that doesn't look good.
anyway, now that its sunny, today i lifted my car up to check if it was the spring loose of around the wrong way or something, it wasnt, the spring looked fine etc. so i put my 18" back on there.
then i went to change my front left back to my 18" and this is what i saw
http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t1/tmichelsons/Image108.jpg
thats with the 19" rim on! its perfect fit, no problems on the front left!
so i just put the 18" back on that side.
now both size had the same size 19", the same size profile, same relatively new KYB EXEL-G shocks with jumbo custom springs (note that the springs are NOT captive, but with the weight of the car on them they are)
what could be the problem? what could be causing my front right to be so low and my front left to be perfect?
anyone have any ideas? coz i drove it up the street with the 19"s on and by the end of it approx 200m i could smell rubber on my right side and hear it rubbing the whole way :doubt:
anyway, anyone have any ideas, please let me know.
:(

I'd put it on axle stands and remove both wheels and look for differences including bent or damaged suspension components.

i was also told that if my contol arm/ K-frame was bent even just a few mm's that would throw off my camber dramatically
it could be a camber issue? the fact that one side is lower than the other?

It's a height difference and not an offset difference and the difference in height appears to be in the struts themselves - not an adjustable part.
Was the right front strut replaced ?
If so, it must be from a different model.
If not, I'd measure the struts on both sides from the top bolt hole on the botton of the leg to the spring mounting base and see if there is any difference.
If there is no difference I'd be comparing the steering knuckles as it looks like 1-2cm difference which is pretty significant.
Was the right steering knuckle replaced ? Was it off a different model ?
Were any parts of the front suspension replaced when you had it repaired.

not that i know of, just wheel alignment
left rim was 1% which was normal after the lowering, but my right was at 3.2% because of the hit
and i think some toe in but i cant remember, i'd imagine so
it cost me $250 all up, but he had to do the alignment twice because he forgot to take the spacers off

i just need to know if its a shock problem, a spring problem, or something else? coz i can pay for a new set of shocks or springs, as long as that fix's the problem, im not happy to be driving around on 18" rims at the front and 19" rims at the back...

My bet would be shocks - the mount may have dropped lower if the weld has been broken.

Nice avatar BTW :)
