well i drive a 2nd gen but a mate of mine has had a tp elite 1990 sitting in his front yard for 3 years. hasnt been started in that 3 years either.
no air in the tyres, no coolant, fluids til i got my hands on it.

gave her what she needed then cranked her over. after much spluttering, coughing, farting, snorting, popping and not wanting to start she kicked over! it was a glorious moment in the world of magnas. still needs alot of work but after 3 years of no running WHATSOEVER i was pretty surprised with her condition.
paintwork is neglected but these things happen.
electric window motors need a warm up, dash needs to work but all in all, she'll be a ride to enjoy hahah.

let me know what u guys think... any ideas and advise is more than welcome.

Well done on bringing back a classic to life.

Before I had my TR, I was driving round in a 1988 Hyundai Excel (the squarish type)

It had been sitting on my Mum's front lawn for a year and a half, and we got it started, with some effort, but it still got up.

I then got my TR, and now my Vienta, and up until 4 months ago it sat again on Mum's front lawn. A guy with a table-top truck came and picked it up, and again, it started up.

Go the old'uns!

Ah drat. If you were in Victoria, I'd take all the EFI gear, digital dash gear, and wiring harnesses. (Both engine harnesses, and the interior harness!)

Actually, I'll investigate freighting it, and draw up a list of what's needed.
