Today i got enough guts to ask about replacing my aging CV joints.

anyway Kmart asked 380 per side! and the guy seemed as though he didnt give a damn about it anyway! he just went lets book it in for next tuesday alright?

Then i went to Ultra tune where they said around 250ish per side.
The guy said that i shouldnt really need them at the stage the car is at but if they are gone it is a good idea since More can break he even said snap causing more damage!

He also said since my car has low Km's the drive shafts should be fine.

Is this price too high or alright?

I just gotta get enough balls now to ask for a straight through muffler... im too shy to ask!

(btw its an auto 98 magna advance 75000km on it)

If ya CVs are gone.. just think snap, skid and bang.. well thats how my uncle put it.. He says.. if they snap.. you'll skid and if you lucky you'll just bang a tree at around 5/10k and won't get hurt..

i cant remember the name of it, but its the Mitsu dealership on Main North Road... the southern end where all the car yards are :D its got a big glass front, and last time i looked (bout 3 weeks ago) there was a red ralliart in the front sourrounded by lots of TL's...

i highly recomend you call a CV specialist im sure there are a few in perth they will be cheaper because basicallly all the do is suspension and cvs etc.

down the rd i got right side cv done 120 for tr magna and it was inner and outter because it was ****ED from me driving it so long clicking
