hey guys
when washing my car, behind the passengers seat under my floor mat, i usually get a wet/damp spot of 20cm by 20cm, can anyone inform me to what this could be?

Maybe one of your window seals is leaking?

its weird though, there is no water marks on the windows or doors, and the floor mat its self isnt wet, only underneath it.

I think you might have a leak somewhere in the door or hinge area that's allowing water to get in under the carpet. Does it happen when it rains?

dno next time it rains ill check, i know my seals around my back window need help cos i keep getting water stains in my back window?

Sedan rear window seals are terrible. When I was car hunting, I looked at a KJ Xi that had pieces of rubber missing from the rear window seal, and you could pick more out easily. I know from TL onwards it was fixed though, apparently it's something to do with the composition of the rubber.

mine only leak if the rubber has be knocked by some one exiting the car,
maybe try pulling them off and pushing that back in properly so they have a good seal. then check that maybe the window wasnt all the way up.

look under your car. you will see round inspection seals put in during manufacture,like your boot floor.
I bet one has been damaged or pulled out.
