Yes there was in England, Europe and Japan called the Sigma (Diamante in Japan) which also had 4 wheel steering and a few other useless items that wasn't sold here due to the high cost.Just do a google search under Mitsubishi Sigma or Diamante.
There was a road test in the U.K magazine CAR about the Sigma back in 1991.

Yep. There are a couple of 3rd gen JDM diamante AWD's on AMC, one in NZ (GDImante?) and Tbutcher, but I don't think any are road going in australia. DMI has a 2nd gen diamante/sigma, but its FWD

Yes there were, all over the world except au. Have seen 2 here in Melb, these came with the dohc, traction control and everything that opens and closes.

They were branded Sigma's but none that I know of called Diamante.

Clarkson did a run in one before he took over Top Gear as we know it now

andrewd

because 12 people live here

they cant even sell the 380 so they arent going to bring a certain car down under when they might sell 30 for example

the market is just not here

in japan for example 36 ppl live there and they have 000's more people demanding such a vehicle

Clarkson did a run in one before he took over Top Gear as we know it now

The one he reviews is the fwd sigma, he even says towards the end something along the lines of how he thinks 200bhp and fwd dont go together nicely.

Those are stockers. Look good don't they. Way better than the local magna/verada lol
Here's a photo of the standard polished 30V-SE 4WD engine bay with an HKS ram pod air filter.
Note the slightly different rocker cover to the standard DOHC.

LOL *bitch slaps andrew* looks like you don't know anything about the sigma/diamante product line http://www.clubvr4.com/forum/images/smilies/fryingpan.gif
30V-SE4WD is the 3.0ltr DOHC
30R-SE is the DOHC FF
25V-SE4WD are the 2.5ltr ltr DOHC cyclone engines
