How much should I fork out for a set of seats for a third gen? I know of a wrecked TJ that I want to take the seats out of to install into my TR (yeah it's possible) It's a standard TJ Exec, so how much for fronts and rears?

Used leather ones go for ~$500 from a KE/KF/KH

So Id say no more than ~$200ish tops

If you keep en eye on ebay, there was a bloke selling a full altera interior for about $40.

there is a complete xi verada interior on ebay atm... currently @ $150

i got my whole interior chrome handles all seats door trims woodgrain chrome handles and surrounds woodgrain window switches spare radio surround wide ashtray and more (boot carpet lid thing and clips and batt box lol all for $500 from the wreckers

there as a TF sports interior in black here in Vic that was asking around 150 for the lot so i would say 200 max as well. its a shame ur not in Vic cause s-tim-u-late is selling his and the max bid is 20.

Yeah unfortunately for me, my current location (Townsville, North Queensland) prevents me from scoring any decent deals, so $200 tops seems to be the general consensus, these are for a potential project of mine so material doesn't really worry me, as long as they are as/more comfortable than my TR exec seats lol

The standard 3rd Gen seats are a bit too soft for my liking.

Youll find the Verada Velour is alot firmer and IMHO alot more comfortable/supportive.

If the wreckers has both then sit on both first and see which you prefer.

i was going to buy that.... but i dont have power windows so the door skins are usually to me and will look crap with leather seats and normal fabric door skins....

+ my finances arent up to stratch:(
