while installing new phillips blue vision globes I noticed that a small, black wire in the headlight wiring area was frayed and had the plastic coating ripped off. The wire (in green boxes) connects to a small plug (in red box) which looks like it's attached to the hedlight assembly.

Anyone know what this little brown plug does?

from the angle of the photo, it looks like its the cable (and the little brown plug) for your parkers.

yeah, probably is that, considering that the only set of wires that go into the h/l assmebly connect directly to the h4 globes (3 prong plug). The parker wires have thier own seperate hole in the h/l ssembly..thnx for that. Nuffin a bit 'O electrical tape won't fix. :p
