Don't know what diff your after but the LSD from the Ralliart magna will bolt straight in to the manual VRX box and likely you'll never break it.Its also well priced.

Take you havent priced one..?? They are well into the $2000 mark. from memory about $2500..

You are right about the price.$1948 GST inclusive.Add labour for fitting and easily you could top $2500.Its a good diff though.They ran these diffs in the Magna production race cars and they never broke one.

thats cheap for a ralliart lsd.. i heard they were up around $4000... you sell these mate? can you supply to us amc members?

$500 to fit.. it will cost you that to just unfit and fit box...:)

like you would know anything about the cost of replacing a diff :roll: :P

If you've been quoted $500 to remove and refit the box,you've been had.Takes an hour to hour and half to get it out and the same to get it back in.The diff itself only takes an hour to change.

4 hours minumum from your timings... then you gota allow for problems.. id charge $500 aswell... i think $500 is fair

Hour to pull out.. Man can you come do mine.. i half a small idea.. ive put 5 boxes in my car now.. with all the right tools and in a workshop it takes 2 hours to remove.. Can go back in in 2-3 hours.. then you have got oils and so on.. $500 might be a bit steep but with the change buy a cartoon of beer..:)

ive done it in my driveway once with a carton of beer and a mate on a sunday and it took 6 hours on jack stands..:)
