Hi, my question is the engine from a 1981 sigma rear wheel drive fit into a 1994 magna front wheel drive, but I’ll have to change the heads for the injectors?
Thanks all TRELLAMENOS...

The problem is that I'm pretty sure that the pistons are different and that the Sigmas have even lower compression than the Magna. If you need a new engine be better looking for a reco one or maybe getting one from the wreckers.

sigma engine into a 94 magna ( flat top pistons same compression to tr )
the sigma head as long as it is a 2.6 astron ll can be made to fit
you have to change the camshaft for the water pump
the inlet manifold and exahust manifold for EFI
need a magna front timing cover and timing pully
may as well do the timing chains
then you need the wiring loom -computers -from under the dash to front fuse box under
bonnet ..EFI dissy and Coil and fuel pump plus efi fuel line
if you want roller rockers the head and cam and cam caps have to be changed

It might also give you registration headaches because you are trying to fit an "older" engine into a newer car which is generally frowned upon. Check with your motor registry on that one.

Not sure why he needs wiring and injectors etc when he already has the Second Gen EFI with I would assume a shagged motor.
You however are far better off repairing what you have or getting another motor from the same model as the changes to the motor are enough let alone you will not be able to use your knock sensor on the stigma block thus you will need to make a bracket and it will not work as designed then
