in the 5 or so months sinces i've gotten my p's and mum got another car (free toyta from grandparents 1st non Mitsubishi since i've been around) i got given my parents V6 :) 94 ts wagon with 187 000 ks dad gets to drive the 99 magna sports :(.

i've gotten new tyres perille p6000
fitted new h/u and 6 " speakers sony MDXCA790 GT6036X(shown below)

next week i have to fix a CV boot thing and fit new rear shocks

Q: The engine smokes on start up about how long before i need to do a engine over haul and how much should i expect to pay. after reading the forums to fix the smoking i need to replace the value stem seals what else is likey to go on the car (reading the forum it seems that this car has some problems as it gets old which seems to happen on all models and yes this car has had it's oil leak but that was back when mum drove it).

p.s dad pays for my insurance at the moment so i can't mod anything which will cause the insurance company to increase rate or not insure me

Dude's in Maitland NSW (which is near where I live on the weekends 8) ) about 30-45 mins west of Newcastle.

Got any pictures of the outside? Looks like that HU and the speakers went in a treat. Where did you end up going? Get a good price? I hope you didn't pay for installation as I would have done it for a 6-pack :D

I think MAGWGN is starting to get to me. I'm kinda craving a wagon. That's it, next Magna is gonna be a TJ wagon all decked out.

At that milage you do not need a new engine or a rebuild, KB has over 300000 on his i Believe.
Start up smoke is actually from Valve stem seals, no biggie to replace as most GOOD mechanics can do these heads on.

Well done on the car too, you should enjoy it. There are times I wish I had another wagen lol

i ended up paying to get it installed $110 from maitland car audio they did a good job expect they knocked a plug out of my abs brakes ECU it is there in the back with the speakers. so i drove witht the warning light on until they fixed it the next day.

if i new you would do it for i 6 pack i would of the speakers came with a free 6 pack of crown larger and i'm not about do drink it any time soon

new shocks go in tomorrow. then it's back to racing my friends execls camrys and pulsars and the odd volvo.(arr louth park rd.)
