just a quick question, may have already been asked previously. but the ebay leather thats for sale says it fits magnas..i was under the impression that verada seats are different with like separate headrests for rear passengers and stuff. i've got the sports and it's integrated and the front seats are totally different..but does anyone know if like the exec would be the same as the verada? i contacted the seller and he reckons he's sold 80 of them with no problems. anyone on this forum with a magna put them in..and if so what did you guys do?

well they wont fit you need verada seats... well you could modify exec seats but get real...

the other ones... well they arent proper leather and look ok but in reality they are **** and lok like a cheap vinyl interior

yup their the ones i'm talking about. stupid seller. do you reckon i have a case against him since i purchased them thinking they would fit ( i should have checked) but like ..he did say they fit magnas. also are 97-03 verada seats the same. ie would they fit on kf seats or would i need KJ ones.

they will fit on all verada seats up to TL

they are the same as my seats TE/TH/TJ verada

the can be made to fit the fronts but you need the verada seat foam...

easies thing is to get a set of front and rear verada seats from the werckers and fit your covers..

or sell the covers on here.... i'd get them off you if i had the $$ but i dont :( lol

and ull need KJII seat foam and base as they are designed for both driver and passenger electric seats. the actual lower seat frame is different its more wider to accomadate the electrics. plus the rear pockets are missing.

so does that mean i won't fit the KF? because i'm getting a trimmer to do it. so will he be able to make it fit or what do you reckon. by the way the trimmer said he will be replacing that panel that has the holes in it with new leather. so keep all that in mind i am just wondering if physically it will fit the KF seats because that is all i am able to get a hold of at a reasonable price.

Wow :shock: Am I glad I read this first! I was thinking of putting these seatcovers into a third gen set of seats (standard Magna) but damn, I'm seriously glad I didn't go through with any of it seeing that I'd need a full 'rada interior... I'm happy now :D

mm...and now i'm worried i need a series II KJ set:S. but yeh if anyone knows if i could get away with using KF ones cos the trimmer can always put extra stuff in to fill it up or watever, i would appreciate it.

It isn't necessary that you have to get KJII front seats to fit these covers.
I have a KJI Verada and the covers fit without any problems as the trimmer was able to modify the front covers nicely.

In terms of the case against the seller, i dont think you would have much of a chance and i dont think it would be worth it, been through a few different disputes on ebay and its a lot of hassle (they like to make you think otherwise). Better option would be to sell them on here for the price you bought them for (minus postage). I dont think you would have much trouble selling them as i think people are more incline to buy off ppl on here rather than ebay.

However, if the trimmer says he can fit them, then i would say he probably can, but it will require modification.

how much will the trimmer charge to fit them and were they the 350 covers?

yeh the 350 ones. 680 incl door trims in gathered and glove box as well as the extras needed to fit this set ie behind map pockets and replacing the piece with the holes in it all with leather

the factory verada interior is combination leather, that means where your **** and back and head goes it's leather, the rest is vinyl, seatbacks doors etc... all vinyl.... where the cutouts are.... thats vinyl


you can get a complete verada leather interior from the wreckers cheap, just get one use the doortrims/inserts from that and fit the seats then just have the trimmer put on the covers for you

i don't think i'll be able to find that colour leather...i don't know if they made it for our ones. i'ts only costing me 180 to get door trims and glove box done so yeh..not gona make much diff. atm i can only get a hold of a KF set in grey going for $450 + 120 postage. trying to get something cheaper but it seems to be a bit dry atm. does anyone know of anything going. what is the max i should pay for that set you reckon..it's not even in that good condition, the drivers seat is crap.
