Hi all.. dumb question time....
I need to get a gregries service manual for a TL. apparently no one makes one. so what is the model before the TL as I believe the mechanical spec's are very similar.
for those that have experience would the previous model service manual be good enough. I have the 90,000km service to do and that includes diff fluids and such.
cheers

TJ, before that: TH
Might be more worth your while grabbing a hold of the service manual rather than the Gregories manual. There was the service manual floating around here some time back.

yeah I allready have that but it does not go into too much detail such as I need to replace the diff lubricants in the front and rear but it does not tell me how to do it. it only tels me what level the lube needs to be.

Unfortunately the one you already have is the only one for AWD's. Gregory's and Hayne's manuals never covered the AWD.

ok so then how do I empty the old dif lube from the diff housing.
is it just a matter of removing the coveroff the back

I reckon your best bet is giving a mitsu dealer a ring, although depending on the dealer/person, they might give you some hassle or try a mitsu specialist? or hope for another AWD owner to reply :S

Don't know myself. There are some people on here who can help though, who have AWD's. the Rear diff LSD is from an EVO VI RS, and the front the same as for EVO VI RS and EVO VII. EVO forums might help if you get nothing here.

youll probably find theres a drain bolt/plug on the bottom of the diff casing which is your drain (always on the lowest point) and ur fill is the bolt/plug (on the highest point) generall on the diff backing plate
