View Full Version : Km175-1
Does anybody have the TN service manual? I've got the TP manual, but the fault is in the TN carby automatic gearbox (In the TP, they all use KM177-6, which is a bit different)
If you do, can I have the scans for the carby automatic section? (The transmission's killing the driveshafts, so it will require repairs in order to stop killing driveshafts)

slipping when cold not good
you may be lucky and just need to adjust the kick down band soleniod
if not
new friction disc and drive plates
need a new kickdown band and drum
Pulled the 4A/T fuse before starting the car today. Car ran well in limp mode, indicating the computer's probably fried.

Yeah, took off beautifully, with only a standard degree of slip. Put the fuse back, and it didn't wanna think about it.

Hmmm seems there's a number of people lately having issues with TCU's... I'm not surprised it may be causing the slipping though, as the TCU's do have ways controlling the slippage, since they are frequency driven solenoids, rather than plain on-off DC, so they can half-engage clutches if they want.
