Hey fellas, i got my alarm installed yesterday at strathfield. Yes i know it strathfield but the installer there is the best in my area ok.

Well the ultrasonic sensors work good. As well as the immobilizer. The Query i have is when im in the car, and i arm the alarm (lock doors with remote), and i open the doors from the inside without disarming alarm, it doesnt go off! I think this is a problem.

Is this supposed to do this with the Mongoose M80 or should i go back to the installer and ask questions?

you will find that the alarm take 45 seconds (i think) to arm itself
my autowatch alarm did the same thing
locked the car with the window down and opened the car from the inside by unlocking it
the alarm didnt go off
then again thats the way he was testing the sensors inside the car

Thanks for the input mate, i might cover the ultrasonic(cabin movement) sensors and wait a minute and then open the door.

Cheers.

did u get this sorted? they probably didn't connect the disarm defeat wire. i did the XR6 and if i didn't connect it the alarm would disable if someone opened the door from the inside.

but now i can't get it to disarm properly! :(
