Hi everyone,

Over the last 2/3 weeks, I have made enquires on the LPG compatible Engine option for at least 4/5 private Magna TL sales. Not a single one of them comes with that ******* NO 1 or LPG stamp on the engine option

Just wondering is it very rare for TL to come with an LPG compatible engine? Is it a waste of time to look for a TL with LPG optioned engine? Any idea on the percentage that MMAL followed while manufacturing TL with LPG comp Engine. I live in perth and currently chasing after a Magna TL with very low milage!

Cheers

Mitsu asks to look for NO 1 or LPG stamp on TL engine. They even can't say anything on LPG option looking at the VIN on their own database system. Stupid system indeed!!!

I ran into the exact same problems, not even the dealers have much of an idea of which cars are and are not LPG compatible. In the end I bought a VR wagon and put it on gas and have not had one problem at all. (it does not have N01 on the options plate or LPG on the heads). I put LPG on when the car had 20,000kms on it, it now has 87,000km and hasn't missed a beat. Talk to some LPG installers, they will tell you they don't have any issues putting gas on TE-TW V6 magnas.
