1. series 1 VRX front springs, would something like king lows be lower or about the same?
2.My clutch pedal seems to get sticky after sitting in traffic, this is when I notice it the most. Like it gets to the point of where free play starts and it stops for a second or 2, then pops out.

Can't answer number 2, but number 1 i can answer. Kings lows will definitely be lower than vr-x springs.

King makes two types of lows - normal Lows (45mm drop over base Magna) and Sport Lows (designated as "SP", about a 30mm drop). The SPs wouldn't give you much of a drop, but the normal Lows would.
I replaced the stock springs with King Lows in my VR-X last week. The installer measured up before and after, and he said there was about a 40mm difference in the front. If you're interested in pics, I posted some here (http://www.aussiemagna.com/forums/showthread.php?t=49982).
If you're considering lowering.... do it. Looks a lot better, and handles a lot better. Can't go wrong :P
My clutch pedal does the same,
but in wet weather it squeeks as well.

Totally different car but I used to have an old EK Holden with a clutch pedal that s-l-o-w-l-y returned. So bad that for a normal (not fast) take-off, I could give it a bit of gas and just drop my foot off the clutch and let it slowly come out.
My mind was thinking of big $$$ so put up with it for ages. Then in the end it was just some blocked lines - cost hardly anything - wish I'd done it earlier.
As I said, different car and slightly different problem but a slow returning pedal could still be a similar problem.

Yeah, I was clicking around on google ad a few different forums said something to that affect.
I'm thinking about bleeding the clutch and putting new fluid in it and see if that makes a difference.
If bleeding works I'll post up in this thread for future refence fo other ppl

I said I would bring this thread back when I solved the problem of the bad clutch.
Well after sitting in traffic for an hour and a half yesterday, my clutch did not do what I discribed in my OP. And all I did was take some fluid out so it was not over full.
I can not guarantee that this is the fix for all clutch problems but it did solve mine.

My TF's clutch pedal used to stick to my floor mat in summer.
