It turns out that the squealing belt I reported a couple of weeks back is in fact due to a dodgy idler pulley, not the belt tension. After making enquiries at Repco, it seems that a new pulley will cost $95 which seems rather excessive to me.

Can anyone direct me to a better source? I've bought wheel bearings for significantly less than $95 and they are a much more complex part, so I really don't want to be wasting money I simply don't have at the moment if it can be avoided. I'll give SuperCheap a try, but otherwise I'm all out of good local sources, and could use some help tracking down ones further afield.

Thanks guys.

Sounds pretty good! I've sent you a PM (and resolved my posting problems too, as you'll have noted). :)
