Looks the goods - quality work - well done.
When I read the subject "lime console", I cringed, but it doesn't look as bad as I thought. Quite acceptable given your other mods.
*EDIT*
...really looks the goods.ha ha ha - I posted mine while you posted yours - we both said the same thing. lol

sorry to steal your thread a bit but it is an on topic question.
Does anybody know of a pearl spray paint? So there is a tinge of another color in the paint?

ummmm easy sand back the original pieces with 220 then 400 grit sand paper
spray atleast or 8 to 10 thin coats (like ultra thin coats) of spray and towards the last coats, 400 grit it again lightly, then add 2 more coats of colour, then six coats of clear and ur done
leave the clear coats twice as long to dry (so 6 hours) to get a shinny smooth finish

Love the paint work man.... i started mine the other day... gloss white... make it more a luxury car........BUT! the paint is bleading... in some spots it tends to bead away tiny holes in the paint in some areas....almost like the plastic is acting as a repelant........ive fixed it buy just sanding it back......and giving it another coat....i just dont wanna have the same problem with the other parts im about to spray....
ive done it in the following order..
220 sand
360 sand
600 sand
plastic primer
thin coat of white paint
then RAH RAH RAH from there on....
what am i doing wrong...
hit back...
Thanks man.. and congrats on the finish....

If the plastic is acting like a repellant, it's probably coated in armorall or something to make it shiny. Don't you have to use something to get that off first, or does the sanding take care of that?

well my misses does armour-all the whole interior every time i wash my car. (once or twice a week) so i could have absorbed it into the plastic
But i gave it hell with the sand paper....
i used 3 different grains.
220
360 and 600.... so its pretty much back to smooth again
