Hey everyone, today i took delivery of my King Low Sps, n was wondering how i can i paint them to match my brakes whick are blue. they apear not to be powder coated but dipped. Can i use the same brake caliper paint on them, or will it ova time crack n fall off them. Any help would be great because i'll be putting them on on da weekend, n i've got a few days till then so i might paint them while there not on yet ,has any one got any surgestions.

Cheers Dno.

I would say they're enamelled.

they will just get dirty and go black anyway.

just give them a good scuff with some auto scotchbrite or fine sand paper and hit them with a pressure pack of your desired colour. the finish wont be great but they're springs so what does it matter. also a couple of light coats from a can are less likely to crack as there will be a bit of flex in the paint. i wouldn't get too carried away with them as they're hardly seen.

Good choice not to do them...

But if you did want to, then they might have to be powdercoated.

i know this is usless know but for some free useless information you will need to use a two pak painting system (paint(thats a no brianer) and hardener) then add a plastiizer to it. it is what they use on plastic parts that induce flex and will not crack. :bash:
