Ok so fixed the dash and console lights, but tonight i noticed that the licence plate lights aren't working checked the bulbs as usual checked the wiring seems to be all good but still not getting anythin...

Any suggestions.

check your fues under the dash

they are on the parkinglight circuit undo the bulbs clean the contacts and check the earth

Ok well i found the problem myself... and i fixed the problem on all 3 of my magna's seems like it's a common fault and i'd say it happens with most cars that have number plate illuminators....

Anyway where the wires wrap around the boot hinge, they tend to fray and break where they are strapped to the hinge. So if anyone's ain't working remove the sheeth covering the wires and check..

Ohh it would also more than likely be the reason why the boot light won't work.

when checking fuses etc use a test lamp my mate said his fuses where all good and couldnt work out why his lights wouldnt work it was a fuse
