my hands are so cut up! instead of cutting out the metal from the bootlid, i hacksawed off the bulb holders from the garnish. I will never use them anyway. Also banged a screwdriver through the bootlid with a hammer for the extra bolt that comes on the verada garnish. massive massive difference IMO!!

I also fitted some exhaust trims from Repco. I know its not great, but its better than the standard looking pipes. only $20 for the 2. They are VERY tight fit, spent 20 minutes banging them on with a wood block and hammer lol

Enjoy

Looks good man, but it doesn't take long with a good drill bit and a screwdriver. it kinda makes the machine look like a sigma when the middle lights up at night. i'll take a pic tonight, with the parkers on. adds that little something extra.

try get some black pinstripe or black paint to cover the silver lines on the tail-lights that don't match up to the garnish. it'll look as one part.

looking good though, keep up the good work.

*EDIT- perry, TUFFTR was selling his a while ago. pm him and see if he's still got his. they really set the rear end off.*

Wowww Very nice! Now that's a different look isn't it?! Looking more like a sigma now.
All you have to do is hook up the rear garnish lights I gave you and you'll give it that *import* look :D

i've hooked mine up, how are yours so bright! mine are slightly dimmer than my tail-lights...so it's a bit of a downer, still looks hot though...

Do yours light up when you brake?

Your car definitely looks better without the magna badging! I think it's time to spray and put on the Diamante badge i gave you :D

Just upgrade the bulb. Do yours light up when you brake?

nah, they're only parking lights. was too lazy to run the wires all the way from brake to bootlid, so spliced into the number plate lights.

do yours light up when you brake? is that why yours are so bright in those pics?

Yeah mine light up when I brake.
It has a dual filament bulb. I believe your one is a dual filament bulb too. You just need to wire it.
The extra brake light that comes up on the boot garnish looks tops in day and night because you don't have to wait till it gets dark to have that *import* look.

Wire your one up :D

Looks good! You just need the dual filament bulb now and it'll look tops.
Don't worry your lights aren't that dim. I can see your garnish lights very well.

It's good because the garnish lights really set our cars apart from the normal second gen "magnas" and "veradas" of Australia.
