Gday all,

Just wondering what your thoughts are on whether or not I should install a small transmission oil cooler to my 96 TE 2.4l magna. I have just installed a tow bar.
I will be mostly towing a 7x4 single axle trailer, no real load (I use it for trail bikes, 10 foot tinny and a 14ft catamaran, one at a time of course).
Your thoughts would be appreciated.

Definitely cant hurt mate.

If you go to a wrecker, pick up a cooler from a TR/TS, if you flip it around it bolts directly onto a 3rd Gen on the passenger side, theres even bolt holes and all.

Just run a bit of hose to each of the pipes under the drivers side of the radiator and youre golden.

Took me and housemate ~20 minutes from go to show.

I'd highly recommend it. I've installed one on a KE and the difference it makes, especially in city driving, is well worth it.
