Was giving the car a once over today and noticed that my left Narva foglight has a crack in the glass :x ... Does anyone have suggestions on how I can stop water getting in once the deluge of rain comes back (I was thinking clear nail polish?); I will be buying some of the 3M flexible/moudable headlight protective sheets tomorrow because I would be mighty pissed if I had a crack in the headlight.

Nail polish???? Girlie stuff.... ;)
Try heat resistant clear silicon. Press it in with your finger hard, to make it fill the crack. Then smoothen/clean the outer surface with turps or what ever that tube recommends to leave nice finish.

You can use industrial glue like Loctite, clear finish and well, seals it too ... but don't take my word for it, I did it on my Silvia and it worked fine :P

If you do get loctite...you'll want to talk to the person who knows the stuff well..because there are heaps of different types for different applications, so you need to get the right one.
But it is awesome stuff!

Yeah killbillys' right, we used to use locktite on aircraft avionics panel glass and if you get the wrong one it turns the glass around it foggy/milky.
Sorry it was a couple of years ago so I dont remember the number.

I definately know 401 and 405 are not the ones u want to do it because they cloud up to a white finish... Check the others in the Loctite range :D

Yeah you can buy the Narva lights separately and without the wiring kit, cutting the cost down to $40 I think for just the one... but I just shelled out for a new set of speakers hehehe... Will see how much I can buy a replacement for.
arildite that 2 part shit
mix it together then paste it over the crack it might turn slightly yellow but will never come out. did this to a headlight setup on an old xd falcon lasted 10 + years (bloody other side got hit by a car and replaced :P )
