Guys,

I realise the front lip of the sports wagon kit is not designed to fit on TE's, but I'm wondering how much modification would be required.
I'm pottering around buying bits and pieces to play with some fiberglassing and while I'm at it, I figure I should look at getting a front lip.

I realize the best way to go is to buy a TH front bar, then put the lip on that, but as usual I'm trying to do this on the cheap as best I can.

Hmm, Just looking at SSV front lip and Talon too.. I think the Talon looks pretty mean.. anyone know where I can putchase such an item?

u can pick up a th bar new for like $150

so second hand will be like $50

surprisingly u CAN get a new one off ozeparts.com.au for $150, but that requires painting.
BUT
at the wreckers they still cost about $120-150. you just gotta be lucky and get the colour u want. Cos if it needs painting, you may as well get the brand newwy.

i know this cos i need to replace the front bar on my TE after i dinged it. :cry:

Grecy,m8 u can start with buying my sports wag front lip,it is new and unpainted,i was going to let my TH front go aswell,but i have since decided that it will have to be kept for the numerous scrapes i get on the ralliart(need the stockie whilst repairs to ralliart takeplace)

Nobody has actually answered my original question of how far off the sports front lip is to fitting a TE.

GTV6 - I'd love to buy your front lip man, but I'm looking at a few other options at the present time.. If a Talon front bolts straight up to my TE, it will be cheaper to do that (your lip is $200 + $150 for the TH front bar. A Talon front lip is only $336 and will require less painting)

I'll see whats around..

the talon skirt will fit the TE bar. Yusaks car is a TE-TF which have the same design front bar.
