howdy all, NOW i am aware of altezza lights for the magna/verada's
i hav seen the white face, and the black face, and the carbon fibe face, BUT all of those 3 types are for the newer bodied magna's/verada's eg TJ magna........my KH verada with the older shape has just ONE change of light, and thats the clear white frosted type, NOW i hav seen them on magna's around and they r well different, AND i hav also seen them on a verada, and the guy had the stock coloured lights for the lights that continue over to the boot

BUT
and here is wat i am getting at, i saw on this site a FAIR while ago a verada with the same body shape as my KH and he/she had the clear white frosted lights for his tail lights, and ALSO the lights that continue over to the boot,
i was just wondering IF n e of u hav seen these lights for the boot around?
if so where can i get them and how much for all 4??
if n e 1 has n e pics of wat i am referring to, thatd be great
thanx

Imho i really dont' like ANY of the altezza or frosted tail lights available. I think you'd be better off with your Tinted taillights.

And no.. i haven't seen any other replacement for the TE-TH Magna other than the Frosted lights which look horrible.

i'm pretty sure i've seen the pick you are talking about, but i'm also pretty sure that it was a photoshop.

BUT

i also remember seeing a how-to guide on making clear repeater lenses, using a mould from the factory lenses (i think it was in Chinese or something, but the pics were pretty detailed) if something like this could be done, I've got a pair of spare KH boot-lid lamps i might be willing to pull apart and have a go at, that is of course if suitable instructions can be found :D

Not worthwhile if you are just doing it for yourself though. Silcone alone will be $70+. And near impossible to find small quantities of clear urethane in Aus, within a decent price range. Though I suppose you could try casting resin (as opposed to laminating resin, "resin" in this case being polyester).

Hmm, a quick search came up with this:

Might be enough there to do a set of lights with cheaply, though the product looks a bit dodgy compared to the stuff I work with. But hey...

A cheap one-off mould can also be made with dental plaster, about $30 will get you 20kg of the stuff...

Of course, the lights would be 100% illegal, but that's a given.
