Its not on a magna, BUT I have a cv joint cup stuck firm into the intermitant shaft i need for my crx, i have tried blasting this thing with wd40, prying with a crowbar, belting it with a hammer...

How can i get a stuck cv out of this shaft without trashing the shaft.

just a second opinion for you because you know magnas

with the intrim shaft out

the c clip ring may have stuck in the intrim shaft

hold the intrim shaft in your hand and tap around and around the cv housing evenly till it releases

heat up the spline area

in a vice you may put the intrim shaft and try the pry lever again

in a vice support the cv housing and tap the intrim shaft apart

a press

this thing has been approached inteligently and with plenty of care... then i abused it like a runaway slave! AND STILL NOTHING!

go to wrecker buy an intrim shaft and a cv driveshaft

I belted ten barrels of sh*t out of a Subaru driveshaft once before discovering the final circlip holding it together..........
