i was wonderin if anybody who owns or had previoulsy owned a jaycar dvd player or 7in monitor could tell me if they are any good or if they r just el cheapo rubbish, also what would you compare them to in terms of quality?

The jaycar monitors are fine if you want cheap and nasty but otherwise checkout brash imports http://www.brashimports.com.au/ and get something from them for not much more.

The jaycar unit you have to manually pull out yourself, only bonus on them is that you can tilt it and swivel it any which way you like. Suck factor is that its chunky and isnt easy to hide as it stands out like a sore tooth when closed.
