Hey, Don't know if its a problem or not, but when im going round a round about, , as im coming out if accellerate it just sits there for a second or so then responds.
Also, its happened a few times that the car does not decide what gear it wants so e.g. up down up down, almost like a jerking, is this normal?

try disconnected the car battery for about 10 minutes, then connect it again, let the car idle for about 5 mins then drive it like a grandma for about 100km. it resets the transmissions memory and makes it relearn when to shift. i had simular problems, and that help

I did a granny not long ago, about 2000km ago, so this is a computer issue. Like if I plant foot it just doesnt go and jerks about 3 times then goes

Does the jerkiness happen everytime or just occasionally?

Could be the fuel pressure reg my mums skyline was doing the same.

Well that might explain a bit, fuel could be slushing around or sticking to one side, so therefore when i go to accelerate there is no fuel ready, or is that just a  idea

I agree, it's probably a fuel pump starvation issue - not good.
Lenny - how the hell is this an ECU issue when it only happens when the car is cornering?

I had a similar problem a while ago. Low revs with a flat foot would give me a few seconds of gutless nothingness. It turned out one of my plugs had a fault so it couldn't form a spark in higher pressures. Try testing the resistance on the plugs to see if one is significantly higher (more then 10%)
That would have happened whether you were going straight OR cornering.
This is specifically relating to it happening when cornering, so plugs aren't the cause.
