My TS has done 345,000km so far. Only had it for 6 months (desperation buy after blowing up the Crummydore the day before bringing our daughter home from the hospital, so no time to look for anything with lower kays and limited choice to start with!), but it's been running very well so far - the only problem was the idler pulley needed replacing! Hopefully it will last for at least another couple years or so, or until we can afford the Hilux (or Triton) to replace it for the long term (can't really take the Magna offroad properly!). That's why I'm trying to be very nice to it, so it doesn't have any reason to complain! :)

Taxi's are always warm, so generally they will do alot of KM's with less wear than your average car. They can still go supirsingly well with alot of KM's on the clock.

:bowrofl:

really???

- There's approximately 182 days in 6 months (365/2)
- 182 days @ 24hrs/day = 4368hrs in 6 months
- 700,000km's / 4368 hours = 160km/hr

so he averaged 160km/hr 24hours a day 7 days a week for 6 months?

I mean, sure, you tried to make up *another* story to sound cool. At least next time put some effort in and make it at least plausible!

70000 in six months is certainly do-able, I clocked up 58000 is first six months... Mainly driving to brissy n back every week (approx 2500) for Golf Tournaments. Now 8yrs down the track I have only put another 120000 on the clock.... Mainly due to the help of Company Cars.

First C/Car, Holden Commdore VS ute, clocked 357 b4 she died in the butt. That was 2 yrs driving. The joys of living far away from customers!
