Yes its finally done i am in the process of converting to manual.I started on late friday afternoon had the tiptronic out in about 3 hours as well as everything else. And saturday put the manual box in and a few other bits and pieces.Today was rest day as i ran into a little problem with the wiring harness but that is all sorted now so hopefully it will be on the road by tomorrow afternoon or tuesday. So far all up its cost me $520 including everything i needed for the conversion which included the box itself.

Yeah its cheap and the box is in good condition the clutch was recently changed in it so yeah it was a good pickup it cost 400 just for the conversion kit itself the other 120 was in new seals a new key and oil and just fiddly bits so its been cheap so far.I hope all goes well for me too cant wait till its on the road

Awesome news!
I use to be able to get parts but could never find anyone willing to do the work.
Now I have someone that will do it for me for next to nothing but can't get the parts...

I was lucky i guess i just must of been in the right place at the right time to get the full conversion kit for $400.I have sold the tippy already and as for the ecu the 3.0lt one would not work same as the wiring harness for some reason i had to buy a new 3.5lt manual one and a new 3.5lt manual wiring harness from the ecu to engine bay.Other than everything else is good and runs great.

Why would you need to change the ECU? I still have my Auto ECU... and i have no problems.

My auto one would not period. i tried a 3.0lt manual ecu still no go so i had to get a 3.5lt manual ecu and wiring harness and it worked straight away with no problems at all as before there plugs that were totally different
