Wife suggested I paint the grill gold

Now I have absolutely no thoughts on this & it's only at photoshop stage, so ALL opinions needed & appreciated, no matter good or bad :)

IMO the darker cars look the goods with crome grills or black.

i'll prob do mine black when i get a chance

for me i think it's looks out of place cos there's nothing that really goes with it. Now if you had a theme or some more golden touches like some nice gold rims or doing the chrome strips gold that are on the plastic trim or such then it would blend in better to your car. But just the grill in gold looks weird.

Take a look at the late 90's Honda range, particularly the Civics, they had gold trim and in some cases, gold grilles. In my opinion these looked like crap, as gold doesn't stand out nearly as much as chrome, and gives it a 'sickly' feel to it (probably because it looks yellow).

in my opinion, ahhhhhh, no, looks out of place, doesnt match the rest of your work.
