Slotted have better wear and tear than cross drilled. Cross drilled have a tendancy to fracture if suddenly cooled, heated etc.

DBA slotted rotors get quite expensive, ring around your local brake shops.
I wouldn't trust anything from ebay motors, especially those style

DBA slotted rotors would be the way to go and they aren't to expensive - rang anywhere from $100-$140 each (as in for one) depending on where you go/who you know

got rda slotted for $150 for the fronts, and lucas pads for around $70 for the fronts, cheap combo but very good :)
Assuming you aren't particiting in track days, an upgrade of your standard pads (to EBC greenstuffs for example) will be more than adequate.
If you are getting brake fade on upgrades pads - your driving needs to be adjusted.

Agreed, although I wouldn't recomend EBC greens, I found them very harsh on rotors, and not that fade-resistant. Although they did bite very hard, and felt great until you overheat them. Brake fade occures when your pads exceed their operating temperature, slotted/drilled rotors may help slightly with heat dissipation, but really it's the pad.
I personally use Ferodo DS 2500 pads, which simply refuse to fade, even on the track. However I do have the ralliart/awd brakes, not sure how much of a difference this makes regarding fade resistance.
Problem with the DS 2500 is they are overkill for the street, around $250 for a front set, and aren't that pleasant on the street, as they dont' get hot enough to start biting properly. I've head good thing about the Lucus pads, perhaps give them a go?

Do these suffer the same warping effect as the standard ones?
