Hi all,
A quick question about adjusting headlights, now I've used the search feature and I already know HOW to adjust the headlight beams, however what I want to know is how to do it properly, what lights should be at what angle and such, how to calibrate and all that... Any directions or diagrams would be excellent.
Thanks!

this is of interest to me also.
Most crash repair places and also some larger mechanics will have a board setup with the manufacturers specs on where headlights should be aimed.
Take a 6 pack to your local crash repair place and they'll prolly let you use it.
The owners manual didn't have the specs last time i checked.

For what it's worth, the haynes manual says:
Park the car 7.5 meters from a wall, sitting level with a half full tank and nothing in the boot. On high beam, the centre of the high intensity area should be just below the height of the headlamp. The illistration looks to be about one brick. A bit vague but at least it will get you in the ball park.

i have always taken my car to a dark place on the open road and adjusted my lights to the way i like them, but always set the drivers light to be slightly lower than the passangers light so you dont blind on comming traffic....

it's in the haines manual. it says to park three metres from a wall with proper markings on it and adjust accordingly. as TL-R said, better just bringing it to the local smash repairs or place that does roadworthy and getting it done.
