Anyone come up with a fix, other than a new battery?
or is it just an old battery? Early warning?
They go up very slowly.. and as the glass meets the rubber seals on leading edge of window frame and top edge, slows almost to stop.
Anyone? :D

mr sheen in the window guides and tracks or vasaline
I've got the same problem(TJ11 exec) it seems to be only the front ones that are playing up in mine. i have a feeling that its just wear(i use the front windows about 400% more than the rear) in either the motors or the mech assembly, but I've yet to take the door skins off to check.

spray some silcone spray in the vertical tracks and along the bottom rubbers or any path the window follows. Roll em up and down a few times, should eventually get faster.
I silicone my windows almost everytime i was my car, keeps em easy to wind.
My statesman used to have slow spots in the windows, untill i was told about the silicon spray.

I use CRC Silicone, just stuff from work, but you can buy a can i think is called ezyglide or something, its in a yellow can from super cheap, its like $12 i think. Its all the same stuff anyway.

the rubber beading is probably dry - lubricate it with the appropriate lubricant

are all your windows doing it, or just one or 2?, my dads 95 pajero had the same problem, all windows were slow. turned out that the alternator was on its way out.

My front ones are much slower than the back ones.
Does anyones driver side window make a loud rattle noise when you close the door with the window not wound all the way up?

Canberra VR-X:
You'll probably find that the grooves in the pulley that operates the window lift mechanism is getting chewed out. May need to be replaced eventually. Seems to be a common problem with the Magnas - I had to replace mine a while ago after it ground to a full stop with the window half way down.
Ezzab:
Normal. With window part way down the glass isn't fully supported for lateral movement.
