Nice rude dude!

Lowered, debadged, maybe even despoilered, and that'll be one hot ride.

Bigger rims never hurt either. :)

Has it still got Warranty with it?

Looks like you've got the rear windsheild that will peel paint off it's rubber strip - it's a known fault on the TJs.

You can get it replaced with a TL rear windsheild under Mitsubishi warranty if you have it.

its got a 3 year warranty with Holden, but i believe its still covered under the Mitsubishi factory warranty as well. Is it worth going to the trouble of getting the rear windshield replaced?

Plans:

Bigger wheels, pref Mitsubishi 17's of some sort
Lowered and sorted suspension
Lukey LR2779 muffler
Debadge stoopid commonwealth games badges and maybe LE badge on the back
Verada/VRX headlights
Different rear lights
spoiler is staying!

Sound good?

Plans:

Bigger wheels, pref Mitsubishi 17's of some sort Get 17s but don't get Mitsubishi 17s, as their only 7 inches wide, this only allows for a 225/50R17 tire to be fitted legally, which cost a lot more than a 235/45R17 tyre which are as common as housebricks
Verada/VRX headlights Yeah there are a few on ebay right now

there's a pair of parabolics at buy-it-now price on ebay for $200 i think. I may be incorrect.

Good choice man, looks sleak as.

I recon the VRX S2 Wheels would look very clean on that.
Real nice pick.

they are hard to come buy, if u do a search in these forums you might find an old post of someone sellin em.

they usually go for about $800-$900
that is with full tread..

pretty expensive for $17's these days
but they are teh bomb on some cars..

I'd hold out for a decent set of 18's at that price. something non chrome, and non 5 spoke.

i reckon i could get 5-600 for mine, all with brand new goodyear eagle tyres. also got a 5th rim in the boot!

Buying them new is the best way to go though.
The VRXS2 rims are plastic coated and sealed so onces they get gutter rash on them you have to strip the plastic coat back to repair them... then the wheel you repair looks slightly more dull than the rest.

$800 - $1k If they are in good nick with tyres.
I think they are $1.2k - $1.6k each from mits though.

Well worth it in my opinion. No After market rims ever got my attention... Best money ive ever spent on my car.
